Important Notice: Mo Car is not responsible for any item left in the vehicle. Mo Car may agree to keep them for you to collect within a reasonable time.
📋 Rental Terms & Vehicle Return
- While renting the vehicle (Bike/Car), provisional drop-off time will be specified when the vehicle is collected and final drop-off time will be confirmed when the vehicle is returned to Mo Car.
- The Vehicle (Bike/Car) needs to be returned as mentioned at the specified provisional Date and Time. A delay of more than 30 minutes without intimating Mo Car will attract a penalty of hourly charges.
- A trip extension request is to be made at least 6 hours before the provisional drop-off time.
- Charges for trip extension: The standard rate will be applicable for extension.
⚠️ Customer Responsibilities & Penalties
- The customer will be responsible for all the penalties and fines charged during the rental period.
- The customer will be responsible for all penalties and fines during the renting period in case of damage to the vehicle (Bike/Car) on rent due to accident/mishandling/carelessness.
- A - The customer has to pay 100% of the accidental repair cost (estimated by the authorized service center) along with the daily tariff until the vehicle (Bike/Car) is ready for renting again.
- B - Customers have to inform Mo Car within 2 hours and within 48 hours to police station. In case of theft, the customer is liable to pay, in full, the market rate of the vehicle (Bike/Car).
📄 Required Documents
- Original documents have to be submitted by the customers to avail the rental service:
- (a) Driving Licence
- (b) Adhaar Card / Voter ID / Passport
- (c) College ID / Company ID
🚗 Vehicle Usage Guidelines
- Vehicle Speed Limit: 80km/hr and customer must obey the speed limit according to the speed limit board.
- KM Limit: Will be informed while pick up.
- Customer has to ensure that the rented vehicle is used in a skillful and proper manner and duly driven by a person that bears a valid driving license.
- The Vehicle should not be used for any illegal purpose, or in an unreasonable nor negligent manner.
- Customer should wear a Helmet/Seat belt and carry a Valid Driving Licence issued by Government of India during the tenure of the vehicle (Bike/Car) rental.
⛽ Fuel & Additional Charges
- Rental fare does not include fuel costs and the toll taxes to be paid.
- Fuel level at the time of pick up will be noted & Client must return the vehicle same level. Extra oil is non-refundable & less fuel will be chargeable.
🪖 Bike & Scooter - Helmet Policy
- Mo Car provides one helmet per motorcycle as complimentary service and it has to be returned without any damage during the drop. (Rs.50/- extra per helmet will be charged for another helmet)
- In case of minor damages to the helmet, the customer is liable to pay Rs.200/- per helmet and in case of major damage or loss of the helmet, the customer is liable to pay the market value of the helmet.
🚫 Prohibited Actions
- Customer will not sell, rent or dispose of the vehicle or any of its parts or accessories.
- Customer will not attempt to nor give anyone any legal rights over the Vehicle.
- Customer should ensure that no alterations are made to the motor vehicle or any component removed unless it is immediately replaced by the same component or by one of the same like, make and model or an improved or advanced version.
📸 Pre-Rental Inspection
- Prior to taking any vehicle, the customer must document any preexisting damage and have acknowledged it as well. In case of any concerns, the customer may take photos at the start of the reservation and mail it to info@mocar.co.in, otherwise, the customer may be held liable for any damage reported after the reservation.
⚖️ Legal & Jurisdiction
- In case of any legal dispute or conflict between Mo Car and its customer arising from the services of Mo Car, the sole and exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
- The customer is liable to pay Mo Car reasonable attorney fee and bear the cost of legal proceedings relating to this agreement, including appeals.
- Mo Car may immediately end an agreement if Mo Car becomes aware or suspects that you have, or any Approved Driver has breached these terms and conditions.
- Any persons who is not a party to the Rental Agreement cannot enforce any of our responsibilities under the Rental Agreement.
❌ Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation from customer side after giving advance will be non-refundable.
- Cancellation after taking for a trip will not be refundable.
- Cancellation after formalities will be chargeable of Rs.499/-.
